Delete Your Data
Complete guide to removing all PureCycle data from your device.
Good news: Good news: PureCycle stores 100% of your data locally on your device. We have no servers storing your information. Deleting your data is completely in your control and takes just a few steps.
Understanding Your Data
PureCycle stores the following data types on your device:
- Cycle data — Period start/end dates, cycle length, predictions
- Daily logs — Mood, symptoms, flow intensity, personal notes
- Settings — Language, notification preferences, display name
- Security data — PIN code, lock preferences (stored in encrypted Keychain/Keystore)
- API key — Your Google Gemini API key, if entered (stored in encrypted Keychain/Keystore)
Option 1: Clear App Data (Keep App Installed)
iOS (iPhone / iPad)
- Open your device Settings
- Scroll down and tap General
- Tap iPhone Storage
- Find and tap PureCycle in the app list
- Tap Offload App to remove the app but keep documents, then reinstall to get a fresh start
- Or tap Delete App to completely remove the app and all its data
Android
- Open your device Settings
- Tap Apps (or Apps & Notifications)
- Find and tap PureCycle
- Tap Storage & Cache
- Tap Clear Storage (or Clear Data)
- Confirm by tapping OK
Option 2: Uninstall the App
The simplest way to delete all your data is to uninstall PureCycle from your device. Since all data is stored locally, uninstalling the app will permanently remove:
- All cycle tracking data and predictions
- All daily logs (mood, symptoms, notes)
- All app settings and preferences
- Your PIN code and security settings
- Your Gemini API key
This action is irreversible
Since PureCycle does not back up your data to any server or cloud service, once you delete or clear your data, it cannot be recovered. Please make sure you want to proceed before deleting.
No Server-Side Data to Delete
Unlike many apps, PureCycle does not store any of your data on our servers. There is no account to delete, no cloud backup to clear, and no request form to submit. Your data exists only on your device, and deleting it locally means it's gone completely.
Google Gemini API Data
If you used the Mia AI companion feature, your conversations were sent directly to Google's Gemini API. PureCycle does not store these conversations. To manage data that Google may have processed, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy.
